Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
It is safe to say that 2020 has been the year full of anxiety. At every turn, we are bombarded by information that predicts a questionable and daunting future. Fortunately, we serve a God that is the same yesterday today and forever. Paul leaves nothing on the table in this scripture. In EVERY situation, we are to go to God in prayer. No matter what anxiety may come from the worries of the day, our God says, "come to Me, and I will give you rest." In Him lies the peace that we seek. We are fortunate to have such a friend.
