But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
In our American culture of "give it now', it is challenging to have the discipline to wait. Anything you want to eat, you can get it fast. Any movie you want to watch, you can get it on demand. If anything happens anywhere, you can get a notification in real-time of its occurrence. We literally live in an instant culture.
But life isn't like that. From day to day, year to year, and experience to experience, we are gradually on the road to becoming. The Lord works through our experiences and leads us to become more complete individuals for his purpose. Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.
