They will not labor in vain,
nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune;
for they will be a people blessed by the Lord,
they and their descendants with them.
Before they call I will answer;
while they are still speaking I will hear.
Isaiah 65:23-24
The scripture above is a promise that is encouraging for our lives today. God promises many things to those that seek Him. Be comforted by the assurance that you will not work in vain, and God hears you even before you call. Often, we expect the worst or get discouraged by the negative influences present in our society. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed by our lives and wonder if our efforts even matter. As you go out this week, take courage in the fact that God blesses, hears, and answers the call of those that prayerfully seek Him.
