Good Things
By Barbara Vance
I once heard an old man say,
Shaping vases out of clay
Into subtle forms sublime,
"Listen, son, good things take time."
All my life I've thought of this
When a task was lacking bliss,
When the work seemed awfully tough
And I thought I'd had enough.
So I'd give a little more
To what sometimes seemed a chore;
And, you know, without a doubt,
Good things always came about.
If you are struggling to stay motivated this Monday, be inspired by these verses about the process. Everything in life is a process. Nature turns with the rotation of seasons. Our lives move with the cycle of age. Everything we do in this world starts from an idea or motivation and progresses to a finished product. If you are currently on the road to progress, do not grow weary with the process. Good things take time!
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time
we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Galatians 6:9
